Four Formats. Different Packing Jobs.
The Catering Box is more than an outer carton: its range is designed around carrying and presenting a prepared order. Start with your pans or containers, then choose the box. “Jumbo” does not simply mean a longer Regular box, and Sidebar is a different arrangement inside the same listed footprint as Jumbo.

These are the manufacturer’s folded-box dimensions, not shipping-bundle dimensions or guaranteed usable interior clearance. Pan and container configurations are manufacturer guidance; check your actual rims, lids, and filled pack-out before standardizing.
Choose for the Handoff You Make Most
Half Size Catering Box
A compact choice when your order centers on a half pan. Useful when you want separately packed courses or smaller group orders. One bundle contains 50 boxes.
Regular Catering Box
Consider this for two half pans side by side, or a shallow or medium full pan. Its longer footprint does not give it the height of Jumbo. One bundle contains 50 boxes.
Jumbo Catering Box
Choose this direction for a deep full-size pan or a taller approved pack-out. At 4 inches listed height, it offers more vertical room than Regular. One bundle contains 25 boxes.
Sidebar Catering Box
For topping bars and container-based setups: think a taco bar, fruit-and-yogurt service, or an entrée with separate accompaniments. One bundle contains 25 boxes.
What Makes The Catering Box Useful?
From Carry Box to Serving Setup
The Half, Regular, and Jumbo formats have scored display lids, a tear-off lid option, and locking tabs for the tray-style bottom. That lets the receiving team open up the presentation without transferring the entire order into another outer tray. Sidebar also has a tear-off lid option for service.
Flat Storage, Planned Assembly
The boxes arrive bundled flat. Keep the appropriate format at the packing station and assemble it around a tested setup. Secure the tabs, support the base when carrying, and check the closed box with your actual containers before sending an order out.
Container Fit Matters More Than the Size Name
Measure the widest rim and the full height with the lid fitted. For Sidebar, check that containers sit securely in the openings and that lids clear the box. A nominal deli-container capacity does not establish its diameter or prove it will fit.
Catering Box Ordering Questions
Regular or Jumbo for a deep full-size pan?
Choose Jumbo as the manufacturer’s listed configuration for a deep full-size pan. Regular is listed for a shallow or medium full pan, or two half pans. Confirm the exact pan and lid you use before committing to a standard setup.
Is Sidebar just another name for Jumbo?
No. They share a listed 21 × 13¼ × 4 inch folded size, but Sidebar is arranged for smaller containers or a pan-plus-container combination. Choose it for that serving layout, not simply for extra room.
Does quantity 1 mean one box?
No. Quantity 1 buys one bundle: 50 boxes for Half Size or Regular, and 25 boxes for Jumbo or Sidebar. Pans, containers, lids, and serviceware are separate.
Are these insulated carriers or oven containers?
Treat them as outer carry-and-presentation packaging, not cooking equipment or temperature-controlled holding equipment. Use suitable covered food containers and your established hot- or cold-transport process.
Should I compare bundle price or price per box?
Compare like for like. Half Size and Regular bundles contain twice as many boxes as Jumbo and Sidebar bundles. Then consider whether the format fits the order without forcing the lid or leaving containers unsupported.
