Commercial Restroom Supplies: Build a Complete Purchasing List
Match paper, soap, dispensers, and liners before comparing case prices. Use a station-by-station checklist and a worked replenishment example.
Start with an equipment list, not a cart full of refills.
A restroom order works when the refills fit the installed equipment and the quantities cover the time between deliveries. Walk each restroom once and record its towel dispenser, toilet-tissue dispenser, soap system, and waste-bin dimensions.
Photograph model labels and one successful refill package. Keep different dispenser systems on separate lines even if they are in the same building.
| Station | Record before ordering | Recurring purchase |
|---|---|---|
| Hand drying | Dispenser model; fold type or roll width, diameter, core and feed requirements | Compatible towels |
| Toilet tissue | Standard or jumbo format; maximum roll diameter and core requirements | Compatible tissue rolls |
| Handwashing | Soap dispenser model; cartridge/refill system or approved bulk format | Matching soap |
| Waste | Bin dimensions, waste type, and changes per day | Correctly fitted liners |
| Cleaning cart | Approved products, surfaces, labels, tools and protective equipment | Cleaning supplies and replacements |
Choose the towel system and its refill together.

A folded-towel starting point
Bobrick B-2621 Stainless Steel Folded Paper Towel Dispenser (1/Each) is listed for folded towels. Bobrick identifies a capacity of 275 multifold towels for this model. Compare Solex Premium White TAD Multifold Paper Towels (4,000/Case) and Solex Natural Kraft Multifold Paper Towels, 16 Packs of 250 (4,000/Case), then confirm folded dimensions and dispensing with the actual cabinet before standardizing the refill.
Do not substitute a roll towel into a folded-towel cabinet. For roll systems, width alone is not enough: check roll diameter, core, and any proprietary feed requirements.

Keep soap formats and dispenser systems straight.
The Purell ES4 Healthy Soap Dispenser 5034-01 (1/Each) and Purell ES4 Healthcare Healthy Soap Refills 5072-02, 1,200 mL (2/Case) use the ES4 soap system. Refills are 1,200 mL each, two per case; dispensers are sold individually.
Do not assume that an ES4 sanitizer refill is a soap refill, or that a refill from another PURELL system will fit. Match the exact model and refill specification. Bulk liquid soap, bulk foam soap, and sealed cartridges also require the appropriate dispenser.
For a simple countertop format, compare Softsoap Hand Soap, Soothing Aloe Vera, 7.5 oz (6/Case). It is a different setup from a wall-mounted cartridge system.
Add tissue and liners that fit the equipment.
2 Ply 1000' Jr. Jumbo Bathroom Tissue Rolls (12/Case) provides twelve 1,000-foot rolls per case. It is a jr. jumbo format, not a drop-in replacement for standard household-size rolls. Verify roll diameter and core compatibility with your dispenser before ordering.
For waste stations, measure the bin instead of relying only on its gallon label. Compare 13 Gallon White Drawstring Trash Bags (200/Case) where a drawstring format is appropriate, or use the trash bag sizing guide to choose another liner. Check that the bag reaches the base and folds over the rim without being excessively tight.
Calculate the replenishment order in the unit you use.
Record towel sheets, tissue rolls, soap refills, and liners separately. Track actual consumption for a representative week, including your busiest operating days. Then convert the net requirement to each product’s selling unit.
Illustrative four-week supply plan
Suppose a location uses 2,000 towel sheets, 6 tissue rolls, 1 soap refill, and 30 liners per week. With no usable stock or reserve, four weeks requires:
- 8,000 towel sheets: two 4,000-count cases.
- 24 tissue rolls: two 12-roll cases.
- 4 soap refills: two cases of two.
- 120 liners: one compatible 200-count case, leaving 80.
These are example usage figures, not estimates for every restroom. Subtract usable stock and reliable incoming supply, add a reserve suited to your lead time, and round up to full cases.
Keep equipment purchases separate from recurring refills. Buying a dispenser every time you order soap is not a replenishment plan; buying refills without the correct dispenser is not a complete new-station order.
Make the supply list usable by the next shift.
- Label each storage slot with the item number and the station it serves.
- Keep unopened reserve stock in a suitable clean, dry storage area.
- Record the minimum quantity that triggers a reorder and assign someone to check it.
- Carry the supplies needed for the whole restroom on the same replenishment round.
- For cleaners and disinfectants, follow the exact product label, surface compatibility, and required protective equipment; do not improvise mixtures.
For additional supplies, browse the store’s cleaning and facility categories or send us your existing purchasing list. Product selection here is a purchasing framework, not a restroom-design or regulatory-compliance assessment.
Build one repeatable restroom order.
Send your dispenser models, existing refill labels, number of locations, and weekly usage. We can help turn them into a practical recurring supply list.
