Buy for the waste station, not just the gallon label.
The right trash bag fits the rim, reaches the bottom and handles the waste that station actually produces. A restroom paper-towel bin and a restaurant cleanup station may use similar containers but need different liners. Build your order by station so staff can grab the right bag without improvising.

High-density vs. low-density trash bags
HDPE means high-density polyethylene. It is a useful starting point for paper towels, office waste and other non-sharp contents. Linear low-density polyethylene, or LLDPE, is generally more flexible and offers better resistance to punctures from irregular waste. Neither material name establishes the load limit of a specific bag.

Do not infer resin composition from color, the word “Eco,” or thickness alone. Use the exact product specification when your purchasing program requires a particular material or recycled-content percentage.
Mils vs. microns: compare the units first
One mil equals 0.001 inch, or 25.4 microns. A 16-micron liner is about 0.63 mil; it is not thicker than a 1.5-mil liner simply because 16 is a larger number.

Compare cost per successful bin change
Start with delivered case cost ÷ bags per case. A lower case price can still mean a higher cost per bag when comparing 100-, 200-, 250- and 1,000-count cases.
Then observe the station. Repeated double-bagging, torn bags, awkward removal or excess material hanging over the rim can erase a small purchasing saving. Record bags used, failed changes and cleanup time during a representative trial.
Build a practical reorder quantity
Example: six bins changed twice daily over five days consume 60 liners per week. Four weeks require 240 liners before any reserve. If you have 40 usable bags, the net requirement is 200—two 100-count cases or one 200-count case of the correct product. Add a reserve based on your usage variation and replenishment lead time.

Common purchasing questions
Should every bin use the thickest bag?
Choose a liner that works reliably for the station. A thicker general-waste bag may be unnecessary for a light paper-towel bin. Trial fit and performance before standardizing.
Is Premium Eco the same as compostable?
No compostability claim should be inferred from that product name. Our dedicated compostable option is identified as Code Green; use it only in an accepting organics program.
Can I use these as contractor bags?
