Description
The Rounded French Café Classic
Gigogne brings a softer silhouette to coffee service: a gently curved bowl, two distinctive rings and a compact, handle-free shape. First introduced by Duralex in 1945, the design feels just as natural on a café tray as it does at a restaurant table.
Rounded, Not Faceted
Gigogne's smooth bowl and horizontal rings give it a quieter look than the angular Picardie. The clear glass keeps the drink visible, whether you're serving a cortado or a small juice.
Made for Repeat Service
- Fully tempered: The whole glass is heat-treated, from base to rim, for resistance to mechanical and thermal shock.
- Nonporous surface: Glass does not absorb liquids, helping keep flavors from carrying from one serving to the next.
- Dishwasher and microwave safe: Practical for routine washing and reheating.
- Individual glass dimensions: Approximately 7.1 cm diameter × 6.9 cm high.

Care for the Glass
Avoid abrasive pads and cleaners, and remove chipped or damaged pieces from service. Tempered glass is resistant, not unbreakable.
