3M recommends this heavy-duty masking tape for suitable vinyl, carpet, metal, and plastic surfaces. The thick backing makes it useful for painting and maintenance work where a more substantial masking tape is wanted.
Test an inconspicuous area first and follow 3M's application and removal instructions. The clean-removal window is up to three days; plan removal as part of the job.
